Within a European context, as of 1 July 2014, within the framework of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and the European harmonised product standard EN 1090-1, it is legally obligatory to draw up a CE declaration for steel and aluminium construction parts that are used load-bearing in a permanent structure and put on the market within the EU.

To meet this obligation, Herstaco also has surplus with 3.1 CE EN 10219-1/2 certified tubes in stock for its customers.
